RSPB Onboard Scillonian III
25 March 2013 to 04 November 2013

The Scillonian III is joined by a member of The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) who are onboard the ship on most Friday Sailings (dependent on tides). A voluntary member from the RSPB will point out different species spotted on the crossing along with any other interesting creatures. There are cards onboard to assist the novice but the volunteers are happy to share their knowledge.

 



Wildlife Watching Trips

Sail from Penzance on the newly refurbished Scillonian III and take in the Cornish Coastline as quaint fishing coves, the world renown open air Minack Theatre, and the Land’s End peninsula slip quietly by.

Our guided trips on board the Scillonian are on the following dates.

The guide Paul Semmens has worked with both Cornwall Wildlife Trust and Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust for over twenty years. Paul has a wealth of experience in both sea life and plant surveys, regularly working for environmental charities and seen onboard most Wednesdays on our fleet carrying out crucial survey work on a range of marine animals.

Adult Return Day Trips on Scillonian III on any of the above dates at is at a special reduced cost of £30 per adult (normally £35) when you quote WL001.

Once you arrive on the Island be sure to enjoy the natural beauty of the Island whatever the season, exotic plants and wild flowers, ancient cairns and crumbling castles, sparking white sands and an azure sea – all the treasures of the Island await you.
